The Biafra Republic Government In Exile (BRGIE) Commence its Self Referendum tagged Biafra Self-Referendum (BSR).

It was indeed another landmark breakthrough on the journey to freedom embarked upon by the indigenous people of Biafra as the Self-Referendum organized by the Biafra Government in Exile take off on the 1st of February 2024 as sheduled. The E-voting referendum is said to be one of its kind as there had never been any country before now that carried out a referendum through online voting. What this means is that Biafrans are the first to use the method which give every citizen (indigenous person) of Biafra the opportunity to participate and vote for the sovereign state of Biafra from their very confort zone whether he/she is in Biafra land or in diaspora. 

This is to put to an end the Aged long barria of no Referendum clause in the nigeria constitution which was a deliberate act just to stop the indigenous nationality especially the Biafrans from pursuing self determination.

Biafra Exiting nigeria has been described as the last miracle on earth by the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is illegally incarcerated in the DSS dungeon Abuja, Nigeria up to this very moment because of his resolve to restore Biafra. 

Unfortunately to Nigeria and their alies such as Britain and Kenya who collaborated to kidnapped and rendition Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to nigeria which paved way for his disciple Mazi Simon Ekpa to step in and fill the gap and he has piloted the movement fantastically well that the IPOB as organization/movement has been transformed into Government in Exile, named Biafra Republic Government In Exile which Mazi Simon Ekpa is the Prime Minister. 

In a brief statement he released on his X verified handle  for the commencement of the Biafra Self-Referendum  Mazi Simon Ekpa the Biafra Prime Minister stated

It should be recalled that the Biafran Prime Minister had earlier informed Biafrans and the entire world that Biafra Republic Government In Exile has met all the criteria needed for Biafra to attain its sovereignty according to the international law and standard. That he is preparing to declare the restoration of independent state of Biafra between October/ November this year. Hence the Biafra Self-Referendum is the prelude to the declaration. 

He stated that, there will be Biafra second Self-Referendum Convention in Finland where the result of the FIRST EVER BIAFRA SELF-REFERENDUM will be announced and all the delegates at the convention will have the opportunity to put their signature on the declaration document. Then,  the restoration of the Independence of Biafra state will be declared and defended.
