53 years after the end of that war, Biafra Liberation Army BLA an army of volunteer formed by the Indigenous People of Biafra {IPOB}  a group fighting to restore the sovereignty of Biafra through its government in exile {Biafra Republic Government In Exile BRGIE} has re-invented the Ogbunigwe at the awake of the activation of self-defense against the insensate killing, abduction and forceful disappearance of Biafran youths by the Nigeria state through its security agencies and even the Fulani herdsmen terrorists they are sponsoring.

The Biafra Republic Government in Exile Prime Minister Ambassador Simon Ekpa made this known through his official twitter handle he tweeted “For the first time since the Biafra genocidal war, Biafra Ogbunigwe is now back and the terrorist can confirm the potency we are testing the mic”

One may attempt to doubt the news since it came from the Biafra Prime Minister himself, as such many may see it as propaganda.
